List of 15 highly concerned substances of the European Union Chemical Management Agency: The European Union Chemical Management Agency issued a formal list of 15 highly concerned substances on October 28, 2008. If more substances are defined as substances of high concern, the European Chemical Agency will update the list accordingly. The list will eventually be included in Appendix XIV, and companies will respond to inquiries from consumers regarding hazardous chemicals in products within 45 days.
