Today, the launching ceremony of the furniture hand-carpentry project competition was held in Jinluo Group Beijing Tiantan Co., Ltd.

The furniture handicraft project competition was part of the 2nd Beijing Staff Professional Skills Competition and was also included in the competition for the first time. The Beijing Vocational Skills Competition is jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and is held annually. This furniture hand-carved wood contest was hosted by the old-fashioned furniture company Tiantan Furniture, which has a history of 55 years.

No entry threshold, comprehensive mining technology

It is reported that the competition does not have a threshold, and is not subject to household registration and academic qualifications. As long as it has certain theoretical knowledge and practical operational skills of furniture and woodworking, all employees engaged in furniture woodworking in Beijing can register for the competition. Li Gang, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and the Beijing Workers Technical Association, said that this competition does not set any entry threshold, and welcomes skilled workers at the grassroots level to come to a higher level.

It is reported that this furniture hand-carpentry competition is divided into three stages: preliminary, semi-final and final. Each stage of the competition includes two basic parts of the basic knowledge of woodworking and practical skills. Among them, the rematch is tentatively scheduled to be held in September and the finals will be held in October. Moreover, with a strong expert review team to ensure that the entire event is fair and just.

At present, the structure and quantity of high-skilled talents in the furniture industry are unbalanced.

At present, high-skilled talents in the furniture industry face two major problems: First, the overall number is small; Second, entering the aging. The reason is mainly because the number of new technology people is decreasing year by year, and they are reluctant to engage in technical work after 80s and 90s. Lack of new force injection, shortage of backup technical workers, talent shortage is highlighted year by year.

In the future, with the development of the furniture industry, the shortage of high-skilled talents will not only continue, but may even increase. Therefore, Yu Junsheng, vice chairman of the Beijing Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, also called on the vast number of skilled workers to continuously improve their technical level and improve their literacy through various opportunities and various ways to improve the level of salary and treatment.

Players who have won the first place in each preliminary competition can obtain the national three-level vocational qualification certificate. Those who have national three-level vocational qualifications can be promoted to the national secondary vocational qualification.

Other players who rank in the top 20% of the total score in the preliminary round can obtain the national four-level professional qualification certificate. Other players who rank in the top 20%-30% of the total score in the preliminary round can obtain the national five-level vocational qualification certificate.

The player who won the first place in the semi-finals can obtain the national second-level vocational qualification certificate. Those who have the national second-level vocational qualification can be promoted to the national first-level vocational qualification; the second to fifth-ranked players can obtain the national third-level qualification. Professional qualification certificates, those who have national three-level vocational qualifications can be promoted to national secondary vocational qualifications.

Other players in the top 20% of the total scores in the rematch will receive a national three-level vocational qualification certificate. Other players who rank in the top 20%-30% of the total score in the rematch can obtain the national four-level vocational qualification certificate.

The top three players in the finals will receive the national first-level vocational qualification certificate, and the trophy and honorary certificate will be awarded by the competition organizing committee; the fourth-to-eighth player will receive the national second-level professional qualification certificate. Those with national secondary vocational qualifications can be promoted to national level vocational qualifications.

Preliminary: August 1st - August 15th

Organized by the preliminary organizing committees, after the preliminary results, they will enter the semi-finals according to the proportion of 30% of the participants.

Rematch: September 1st - September 10th
