Nanocor Corporation and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Corporation of Japan have developed a new type of nylon MXD6 nanocomposite (M9), which has 50% and 70% higher cholergic and anti-CO2 loss than MXD6, respectively, with the same transparency and peel resistance. . The PET/1\49/PET three-layer beer bottle developed with it can meet the requirements for beer shelf life in the United States (110 days) and Europe (180 days). Moreover, the thickness of the M9 layer is thinner than that of the MXD6 layer, so the cost can be reduced.
