Cutting quality: analysis of main machine factors

The paper cutting size is not satisfactory, the cutting is skewed, the cut has a knife pattern and there is a phenomenon of continuous knife, the paper is cut and the length is long and the bottom is short, etc. The problems are all common cutting quality problems, except because of unskilled technical operation and paper collision In addition to factors such as unevenness, paper deformation, inaccurate relative position of the paper stack and the paper pusher, and unequal paper wrinkles, the other main influencing factors are as follows:

1. Factors related to the paper cutter

(1) The reference line for cutting the paper size on the paper pusher is the rear stop gauge, which should be parallel to the cutting line and perpendicular to the worktable.

(2) When the cutting knife falls, the cutting knife should be perpendicular to the working table, and the blade of the cutting knife should be parallel to the working table and adjust it to a certain height.

(3) The paper press should be able to adjust the pressure and maintain its stability according to the cutting requirements. Generally, the gauge pressure should be in the range of 4MPa to 10MPa, and it is not allowed to exceed 15MPa. This is the premise of ensuring the cutting quality.

Therefore, when installing and debugging the paper cutter, the above parts should be adjusted accurately, otherwise it will cause the cutting specifications to not meet the requirements or the cutting is skewed.

2. Improper adjustment of cutter and blade

The knife will not fall in place, resulting in the phenomenon of continuous knives; the drop height of the knife is too low, making the knife mark of the knife bar too deep, resulting in unclear cuts or broken knife bar, the normal depth of the knife into the knife bar is 0.5mm ~ 1mm; the blade becomes blunt and the blade is not flat, it is easy to produce the phenomenon of continuous knife or unclear cut.

3. There is a small gap in the blade, and a knife flower appears on the edge of the cutting object.

4. Causes that the paper grows up and down after cutting

(1) The cutting edge of the cutter is too blunt, and it is easy to pull out the surface layer of the cutter to make the specifications inconsistent.

(2) The cutter is not perpendicular to the table.

(3) The front surface of the paper pusher is not perpendicular to the surface of the workbench. The paper pusher is tilted forward, and the cut paper stack is long and short. The paper pusher is tilted backward and the cut paper stack is short and long.

(4) The higher the paper stack, the higher the pressure of the paper presser, and the larger the resistance of the paper stack to the cutting blade, thereby increasing the bending deformation of the paper stack, and the phenomenon of the top and bottom of the paper stack after cutting. Therefore, the height of the paper stack should be controlled below 100mm, the thickness of the paper is different, and the corresponding cutting height should also be adjusted appropriately.

(5) The pressure of the paper press should depend on the nature of the paper being cut. The size and quantity of the specifications change. In order to achieve accurate cutting, the paper must be pressed tightly with a paper press. When cutting ordinary paper, the pressure of the paper press should be greater; when cutting hard paper or cardboard, the pressure of the paper press should be smaller.
