InkReady - a small helper to control printing inks

Ultimate Technographics Inc., a developer of lithographic software and digital typography, exhibited new products in the printing industry at IPEX, InkReady.

InkReady is the latest secret weapon to speed up printing production. It transfers the prepress digital template onto the print template to control the ink density. InkReady is used for two printing methods: one with digital exchangeability (CIP 3/4 PPF) and the other without digital exchangeability.
InkReady is designed for printers who use a digital plate-making process but no color console. These printers can enter a plate-based PS, PDF, or Tiff image file format, while InkReady will have an ink usage map (based on a custom ink zone). The software makes the user proudly enter all the color areas of their printing. The plots of ink use can be previewed on the screen and printed in PDF format. The printer will manually set the ink tone used for printing.
