Elimination of illusion and halo in gravure printing

In gravure printing, whether the application of ink is appropriate is directly related to most quality problems such as the transfer of pigments, dirty plates, glossiness of printed products, fastness of pigment adhesion, and static electricity. Affect the yield of printed products and work efficiency. In some cases, ink deficiencies and halo phenomenon may occur during production. The author has obtained the following exclusion methods through various verifications for peer reference.

In the production, the printed product has a false pattern imprint, the ink layer is thin, and there are bilateral or bead-shaped shadows around the edge of the printed pattern, which increases the scrap rate. After finding the reason, I learned that due to the uneven pressure of the plate roller, the blanket of the blanket is not solid; the pressure of the plate roller is too large and too heavy, the viscosity of the ink is small, the fluidity is large, and there is too much ink on the plate; thus causing printing False hair and halo phenomenon. The pressure of the plate roller is readjusted to make the pressure balanced, and the ink with higher density and viscosity is used at the same time. Increasing the drying speed and supplying the proper amount of ink can eliminate the above ink failure.
