PYGMALYON develops electronic smart label system

PYGMALYON Electronics of France demonstrated its newly developed electronic smart label system during the International Transport Week in Paris (SITL 2004) held from March 9 to 12, 2004. The entire demonstration process was broadcast by the television station.

During the exhibition, the company used dozens of antennas in a 45,000-square-meter exhibition hall to demonstrate the tracking management technologies for various long-range radio frequency identification systems. Visitors can take a DAG (small smart tag) to test, equipped with 1D, 2D, 3D antennas on a loop. The 3D antenna mounted at the entrance serves to control people, mail or other items that need to be tracked and managed. The planar antenna (1D) can have a variety of different widths. The 2D antenna can detect the passing direction. The tray antenna can detect baggage placed on the tray in 3D.

The company also made recommendations to exhibitors of professional transport and logistics companies to install radio frequency identification components for them directly, such as short-distance identification components, long-distance identification components, including a reader, a 2, 3 meter pass antenna, and a set of One hundred 1D electronic smart labels, and one hundred 3D electronic smart labels.

As a result, electronic tracking management technology equipped with a smart label system has been tested by specialized companies engaged in transportation and logistics.

The electronic tag system technology was originally used for the timing of sports competitions and is the only radio frequency identification system (RFID) of 13.56 Mhz.
