The benefits of printing plate gluing

In the printing process, a good printing plate will immediately be printed on the machine. Whether it needs to be glued or not, I believe that for many printing plant operators, the answer is not very clear. Strictly speaking, glue should be applied before the plate is printed on the machine. Here I first introduce the benefits of printing plate gluing.
(1) It is possible to protect the fine sand on the surface of the substrate, and to enhance the abrasion resistance of the PS plate to improve the resistance to printing.
(2) It can protect the hydrophilic layer of the plate base, improve the ink receptivity of the graphic part, and help to quickly reach the ink-water balance during printing.
(3) The printing plate can be protected from minor scratches or scratches, wasteful digital printing can be reduced, and printing speed can be increased.

Plate Glue Precautions

There are many issues to be noted in the machine's brushing. First of all, it is necessary to ask the following questions.
(1) When the printing plate is glued, the plate material and the glue ratio are normal?
Under normal circumstances, the protective glue and water are proportioned according to a certain proportion. According to the selected protective glue brand, the amount of water required when matching with water is also different. For example, if the glue selected is Fuji glue, the ratio of the protective glue to water is 1:3 to reach the best state of the glue ratio. At this time, the glue not only protects the printing plate from other packaging, but also easily prints. The printing ink balance is completed during printing.
(2) Are the rollers on the plate clean?
If the gluing roller is not clean during stencil printing, the operator needs to use a damp cloth to wipe the squeegee clean. If the gluing roller is glued and solidified together, the glue on the printing plate graphic part passing there will become too thick. When the machine prints, it will appear that it is not inked. If it is because the protective adhesive is not clean, you need to replace the unclean protective adhesive with a new one.
(3) Is the pressure of the rubber roller normal when brushing?
Unfavorable, the operator must ensure that the surface of the printing plate is moderately adhesive and the glue is uniform. It is also important that the glue be thick and thin and even and moderately moderate. When the glue layer is too thick to print on the machine, it is necessary to use a cleaning solution for printing and printing. If it is too thin, it will not reach the effect of the printing plate.
(4) Is the drying temperature normal after brushing?
The temperature after brushing should not be too high or too low. The drying temperature is generally between 40 and 50°C. Too high may cause a chemical reaction on the photosensitive layer on the surface of the printing plate. If the temperature is too low, the surface of the printing plate may not be glued.
(5) Is the operation correct when brushing?
