Add a grayscale image to the CMYK mode image in the usual way. Because Photoshop needs to separate the grayscale image, no matter what format the grayscale image is originally, it will be uniformly converted to the CMYK four-color method, which will give subsequent Printing brings some big and small troubles: because four inks are mixed to become grayscale, any deviation of one color in the printing process will cause the color of the printed product, which is more prominent in the monochrome machine; in addition, Any one-color "rule" misalignment will cause the image to "rim". So generally try to avoid the use of "four-color ink" in Photoshop. If it is a single grayscale image, it is normal to directly use the "grayscale" mode to create and save the file, but there are both color images (CMYK four colors) and grayscale images on the same version (such as a magazine cover is a color image) , The back cover is a grayscale image), the above contradiction will appear. The following method can be used to make the added grayscale image only exist on the black (K) version, then the above problem is solved. (Take Photoshop5.02 Chinese version as an example)
1. Process the color image and grayscale image separately in their respective modes. For the position and size relationship of grayscale in the color image, you can use the color image as the basis, drag the grayscale image to observe whether it is appropriate, and then delete the "layer" where the grayscale image is located. The picture is modified, then dragged into the color picture to observe, and then deleted. Repeat so until you meet the requirements.
2. In the grayscale image, execute Ctrl + A to select all and Ctrl + C to copy the grayscale image to the paste version.
3. In the color image, activate the "Channel" palette; click "Black Channel" to make the "Black" channel the current channel; click "Eye" in front of the "CMYK" channel, all channels are now visible, but the editing action Only in the "black" channel; execute Ctrl + V to paste the grayscale image in the pasteboard into the "black" channel; now the grayscale image pasted in is a "selection area", you can move its position to any position Request; deselect.
4. Save in TIF format and finish.
