Servo flow packaging machine

By adding a new servo flow packer to existing flow packaging systems, Heinz can now effectively meet increasing production requirements and reduce equipment downtime.

Heinz purchased a Linium 611 flow packer from SIG Doboy to package frozen pizza and pocket sandwiches. This machine is designed for pastry and confectionery packaging. This high-speed flow packer with built-in heads incorporates servo control and programmable settings to enable quick and easy conversion of different specifications.

In the servo drive system, no mechanical parts are used, and there is no conversion between the motion control and logic functions. This allows the entire plant to operate in real time, ensuring the reliability of the package quality, and in turn reducing the need for machine maintenance and the resulting downtime.

Heinz has only made minor adjustments to the existing packaging line and the efficiency has been greatly improved. The flow speed of the production line has increased by 25%, and the working capacity of the entire packaging line has increased by 50%.
