Borealis develops new propylene/ethylene copolymers

Recently, the Danish company Borealis (Borealis) successfully developed a new grade of propylene/ethylene copolymer Borclear RB707CF. According to reports, this new random PP copolymer resin overcomes the problem that previous random PP copolymers cannot be processed with a standard air-cooled extrusion blown film device.

Borclear RB707CF has excellent optical transparency, good processability and balanced rigidity and strength. According to reports, the processed film has good sealability and sealing strength, and it is easy to bond with mLLDPE (metallocene linear low density polyethylene). The brand target application is a coextruded adhesive layer for hose packaging, where flexible packaging includes: transparent cooking loans, medical, hygiene films, bread Bags, and laminated composite films.
