Ford Automobile Implements 5-Year Recycling Plastics Plan

It is reported that Ford Motor Company of the United States began to recycle automotive plastics this summer and will apply it to the road surface.

For non-metallic automotive scrap, which accounts for about 20% of the total automotive materials, the company's traditional practice is landfill disposal. However, these wastes will be recycled in the next five years, of which plastics account for 10%. These plastics will be mixed with fine stone as a pavement material.

A few days ago, Ford Motor Company is testing the practical application of waste plastics.
