Avery will introduce transparent self-adhesive label material for the first time

Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe will unveil what it calls the world's leading new product veil on Labelexpo, a self-adhesive film that enables a simple labeling process.

The film is a result of joint research and design through cooperation with paper product processors and end users.

The structural properties of the new membranes are suitable for label production, and conventional membrane label materials generally use PP and PE. It is said to have transparency and consistency (especially for curved surfaces) with high processing speed and first-rate printing stability.

Avery said the film is a truly global product that meets the requirements of the world's brand owners by achieving the same high quality and consistency in every country and every state.

The company will also begin another Fasson Product Swatch Library, which is said to be the “first” in the industry, to use the fastest route to guide users to the next job.

Visitors will also be able to see Fasson Rapid-Roll non-adhesive materials, which will allow paper mills to purchase raw materials separately for rolling compounding and to machine their own labels and tickets.
