Environmental packaging and packaging waste

China's recycling of plastic packaging waste has received the attention of relevant departments, and has made a lot of achievements, but there are still many problems:
Resources and environmental awareness are weak;
Weak guidance in macro instruction and orderly management, lack of corresponding regulations and policy support;
No effective recycling network system has been established yet;
The distribution and separation technology needs to be further solved, otherwise, the old plastics will be returned to the furnace, regardless of the grades, all of which will be melted and re-injected. High-performance composite materials can neither be peeled off nor decomposed, which constitutes a more complicated and unresolvable performance of recycled products;
Compared with foreign countries, there are considerable gaps in the level of regenerative equipment and regenerative technologies. Therefore, the quality of regenerated particles is lower than that of foreign regenerative factories and cannot be used effectively and reasonably, resulting in a low recovery rate;
Recovering burning refuse cannot control the secondary pollution caused by soot.
Although there are still various unsatisfactory areas for recycling, compared with other methods for solving plastic waste, no matter from the perspective of product performance, production cost, or sources of resources and energy conservation, recycling is used. The mode of use is closer to our country’s national conditions and people’s sentiments, and it can better control “white pollution”. Moreover, plastic products cannot be replaced by other products for a long time. Therefore, at this stage, China should vigorously promote the development of recycling and recycling methods that turn waste into treasure.
