Explore ways to eliminate coating pits

During the coating operation, we often encounter products with many pits, which seriously affect the quality of the final product. For this purpose, we conducted in-depth experimental exploration of this phenomenon and obtained the following experience: For your reference.

1 Coating viscosity

For coating printing [encyclopedia], the viscosity of the coating is an important indicator of coating printing, the level of viscosity directly affects the appearance of the product quality? Take Jiachang Bai Keding 2202-530 as an example (construction viscosity limit 180s, Lower limit 140s). First, it was inverted for 15 min and stirred for 30 min before being coated on the machine. The viscosity of the paint is adjusted by adding diluent. The viscosity is adjusted to its upper limit and applied. The surface of the printed product has a "pitting point". So we follow the above procedure to increase the viscosity of the paint. According to each down-regulation of 5s, one after another, followed by down-regulation? After repeated experiments, it was found that each time the printed surface of the coating had a tendency to decrease gradually from high viscosity to low viscosity, when the lower limit was reached, "Is there no point? From this we conclude that the "pitting point" due to the viscosity of the coating is caused by the viscosity of the coating being too high.

2 The material of rubber roller

The rubber roller is an important component of the coating machine. The material of the rubber roller is an important factor that affects the aesthetic appearance of the printed surface. Therefore, the lower density rubber roller was changed to a higher density polyester roller, and it was finely ground. After the machine experiment, the "pitting point" due to the material of the roller was completely disappeared.

3 bottom roller pressure

The pressure of the rubber roller and the bottom roller is a technical indicator that directly affects the coating quality. We will adjust the pressure of the rubber roller and the bottom roller from small to large, and repeat the experimental demonstration that the pressure is adjusted to (with the contact between the rubber roller and the bottom roller just beginning) without any other problems. At around 8, it was observed that there was no "pit spot" on the surface of the printed product.

4 Environmental pollution

A good product is inseparable from the surrounding production environment. The pollution of the surrounding environment will directly affect the quality of the product. Therefore, in order to eliminate the "pitting point" caused by environmental pollution, we have thoroughly cleaned and isolated the host and the surrounding machines that can cause dust, effectively preventing the occurrence of "pitting."

5 tinplate temperature

The temperature of the original bald tinplate is also one of the important factors that cause "pitting." In autumn and winter season, due to the fact that the temperature of the original bald tinplate is too low, the surface coating of the printed matter not entering the drying room has a poor flowability. After entering the drying room, the coating is relatively dilute based on the feeding mode of the transfer roller. Local heat spreads too quickly to thicker places and forms "matches." Therefore, the original bale tin iron put in the open was moved to the fork lane of the drying room and preheated in advance so that the coated layer of printed matter had no “pitting point”.

After experimenting with the above five factors, we have realized that while normal operations are taking place, we must also consider other factors that cause problems. In the future, we will carry out the construction strictly in accordance with the above-mentioned experimental data, so that “matches” will be completely eliminated, thus improving our coating quality and making our printed products more clean and beautiful.
