The relationship between the hygroscopicity of the heated wood and the micro-surface was tested using surface crack size. As the temperature of the heated wood increases to 250 degrees, its hygroscopicity decreases. The hygroscopicity decreases from 250 degrees to 350 degrees. This change corresponds to chemical changes in the wood. Especially when heated to 250 degrees, the hydroxyl group is continuously reduced. The degree of cracking to 250 degrees or more is calculated from nitrogen adsorption. The surface cracking degree gradually increases from 10O degrees to 250 degrees, and the temperature increases rapidly from 250 degrees to 350 degrees to the peak. Above the degree, it will become stable. From this result, it can be concluded that the change in hygroscopicity of wood when heated is 250 degrees. Below 250 degrees it depends on the chemical properties of the wood. Above 250 degrees it depends on the complexity of the surface.
