Water transfer printing inks are generally inks for water transfer labels. It is best to use the same brand of inks, additives, thinners, and glue in a batch to avoid chemical reactions. Water transfer printing inks are available everywhere at the supplier.

1. Water Transfer Common Supplies

When printing, use the 200-mesh screen to print the white background first. If there is no special request from the customer, the taboo will be whitened. Since the paper may have slight expansion and contraction, after the white is added, the white background becomes larger, and the back color is difficult to cover the white background. , color registration is not allowed. For products with whitened colors, when using a manuscript to create a film, the white background should be as small as 0.5 to 1mm as much as usual. After adding white, just as with the background color without white, the overprint can be made accurately.

When printing the first color (white), first print a few angulations (crosshairs) to facilitate the second color overprint, and later need to completely seal off extra patterns such as the needle crosshair, leaving only the product Needed pattern. Why? Because the printed water transfer mark must be placed in the water when it is pasted on the object. The top film is separated from the bottom paper. After separation, the small crosshairs will fall into the water at the same time. The crosshair will follow. Water floats on the desired product and affects operations. After sealing off, there is no concern and it is convenient. After printing one color, in order to prevent dust from inhaling, we can use a large newspaper to enclose the circumference and the top, and sprinkle some clean water on the ground for a period of time to prevent personnel from moving around and drive the dust to fall on the printed product. In the drying process of each color, the only drying method is natural drying, which must not be assisted by fans, drying tunnels, dehumidifiers, etc. The printed paper will become irregularly stretched under the influence of external forces, waiting for you is the price of money.

2. Requirements for glue in water transfer printing process

After all the colors have dried naturally, glue can be prepared. Covering glue is very important. It directly determines the quality of a product, so it should pay attention to dust and hair when it is covered. Really clean and better, otherwise the scrap rate will be high, and at the same time pay attention to thinner and less hardworking. When using glue, 80 mesh screen can be used.

In the application of sensitized adhesive, do first scrape twice on the front and back of the screen, and put it in an oven with a humidity of 40° or less. After baking, coat the front and back sides twice. The sensitized adhesive is thicker and the glue is more Saturated, strong three-dimensional. If the area is large, the object is irregular, and once the plastic is covered, it is far from thick enough, and it will not reach the operational requirements. When it is attached, it will be broken and the edges will be curled around.

Finally choose to cover the glue twice, the glue is a little thicker, the time is more convenient when sticking, and the waste products are also reduced. After covering the glue, be sure to naturally dry for more than 8 hours before you can isolate the paper.
