What is a single-sided offset paper?
The difference between single-sided offset and offset paper is that single-sided offset paper is only suitable for single-side Printing. Single-sided offset paper is classified into A, B, and C grades. A-level for printing high-end color posters, cigarette boxes and trademarks, etc.; B, C-level printing for general color painting, trademarks, etc. It is generally a flat sheet of paper with a specification of 880 x 1230 mm, 787 x 1092 mm and a basis weight of 40-80 g/m2.
Single-sided offset paper is based on bleached chemical wood pulp. It can also be bleached with chemical straw pulp, with some chemical wood pulp. A moderate degree of beating is used, and the sizing degree is 0.5-0.75mm.
The quality requirements for single-sided offset paper are: A grade of not less than 80s for front smoothness, 40s for grade B, and 35s for grade C. After soaking, the stretching rate is no more than 0.5% in the longitudinal direction and no more than 2.5% in the transverse direction. The degree of dust on the front: Black dust greater than 1.5mm is not allowed, and 1.0-1.5mm of black dust is not more than 8-16/m2. In the front of printing, no obvious powder dropping and hair loss are allowed.
