Brazil develops environmentally friendly materials

The University of Campinas, Brazil has developed a new type of environmentally friendly material for use as a lightweight packaging material that can replace current foams to eliminate “white pollution.” According to researchers at the university, this new substance is made from natural regenerative substances. 70% of the new material is made from corn, soybeans, and castor, etc. The oil extract only accounts for about 30%.
