Procter & Gamble, the Procter & Gamble Company, announced at the Ocean Ocean Conference in Malta that it has officially launched plastic bottles made from post-consumer recycled plastics and marine plastics. The bottle was named Fairy Ocean Plastic Bottle and was developed in collaboration with Procter & Gamble and TerraCycle, a plastic recycling expert. It will be officially launched in the United Kingdom in 2018. Will be offered for 320,000, 10% of the bottle by the oceans around the world recycled plastic, 90% post-consumer recycled plastic.
The project aims to promote awareness of marine plastic pollution problem, personally inspire consumers to clean up marine litter and garbage for recycling.

According to the MacArthur Foundation (EMF), preventing plastics from flowing into the ocean is critical to protecting our marine environment. Each year we lose about 80 billion yuan in the current economic and operational orbit—$120 billion plastic packaging by 2050. The amount of plastic waste in the ocean will far exceed the number of fish.
TerraCycle CEO Tom Szaky said that marine pollution is a related issue and we hope to inspire other brands to think creatively about recycling experiences.
