Performance index and measuring method of vacuum aluminum coating

1. Thickness of aluminized film

Generally, the following three methods are used to measure the thickness of aluminized film.

The first is the optical density method, which is measured by the density of light passing through the aluminum coating. The advantage of using optical density to measure the thickness of the aluminum coating is convenient and accurate, and the measurement result is not easily affected by the surface oxide layer. The optical density value is related to the incident light wavelength.

The second is the measurement of surface square resistance. This method is simple and practical, and the surface resistance corresponding to the thickness of the aluminum layer is generally 1 ~ 2 . Sampling or width 25px long, 250px resistance value between 1 ~ 20 . When the coating is rolled down, the surface of the aluminum layer is less oxidized and the measurement is more accurate.

The third method is visual estimation. If two layers of aluminum-plated films are stacked together to face a fluorescent lamp or the sky, the thickness of the coating should be more than 400 ? , but this method is easily affected by eye vision. When the film is stuck in front of the eyes, the pupils of the eyes will adjust as the light becomes darker, and the light that is not visible will be visible after the pupils are adjusted.

2. Uniformity of the coating of the aluminum coating

Take 8 to 10 specimens of 100mm × 100mm equidistantly along the lateral direction of the sample to be measured , and use the resistance measuring instrument to measure the resistance values ​​of the squares respectively, and take the arithmetic mean value as the plating resistance of the specimen. The upper and lower deviations of the resistance value can be calculated, and the deviation of the resistance of the resistance layer actually reflects the uniformity of the aluminum plating layer.

3. Fastness of aluminum plating

Aluminum fastness is generally tested with tape. When using adhesive tape to qualitatively determine the fastness of the aluminized layer, apply an approximately 375px long adhesive tape to the aluminized surface and flatten it with your fingers. Then press the sample with one hand and peel off the adhesive tape at a constant speed with the other hand. Use a light box with strong light to inspect the aluminum layer falling off and transferring.

Another method for determining the fastness of aluminum coatings is for PET aluminum coatings . A specially prepared test film and aluminized PET film were heat-sealed under certain heat-sealing conditions, and then cut out with a tensile tester to measure the peel force and check the aluminum layer transfer in the heat-sealed area.

- Processing characteristics, TPR materials and some glue, ink, etc. have good bonding properties, with good injection silk screen processing.
- Environmental protection characteristics, TPR material as an environmentally friendly soft glue, the main hazardous substances such as plasticizer phthalates Phthalate, phenyl phenol NP, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons PAHs testing, in line with ROHS, REACH, EN71-3, ASTMF963 environmental testing standards.
