Option 1: Pick up the wooden floor and put it in a “well” shape.

Applicable conditions: wooden floor picked up after soaking in water

Treatment plan: For the soaking floor, it is important to dry the skin while keeping the wooden floor as far as possible. After the surface of the wooden floor is wiped dry, it is placed in a "well" shape, and the weight generated by the lamination is used to prevent the occurrence of deformation. When placing the surface, pay attention to the reverse side of the wooden floor to prevent the surface from being quickly dried. It will cause dry cracking, and at the same time, it should not be exposed to the sun. It should be placed in a ventilated place and dried. Generally, it can be used again for good quality solid wood flooring and multi-layer solid wood flooring.

 

 

Option 2: Remove the baseboard

Applicable conditions: fortified wood floor soaking

Treatment plan: Whether it is a large area of ​​water or a small area of ​​water, it is not recommended to pick up the laminate flooring to dry, so it is easy to damage the laminate flooring, it may cause serious consequences of not being able to reuse. It is best to quickly drain the surface water of the floor, then remove the baseboard of the floor, reveal the expansion joints, and distribute the water vapor by the expansion joints. However, depending on the amount of water inflow, it usually takes about seven to fifteen days for drying. Products that are better or have not been soaked for a long time can recover on their own. If they cannot recover after fifteen days, they should be considered for replacement.

 

 

Option 3: One side leaks, both sides are ventilated

Adapt to the disease: add keel, a small area of ​​water-immersed solid wood flooring

Treatment plan: a small area of ​​water found in time, after the ground is cleaned, the board is picked up, the wet floor is dried and re-installed ; if the water intake is slightly larger, not only the board at the leak is picked up, but also The opposite board should also be picked up in the direction of the keel arrangement to allow the internal air to carry away the moisture. If you can't determine the amount of water inflow, it's best to pick up the board in turn according to the flow direction of the influent water, and check the moisture condition.

 

 

Option 4: suck with a high-power vacuum cleaner

Adaptation to the disease: solid wood flooring with a small area of ​​water in a straight-through manner

Treatment plan: If the water inflow phenomenon is found in a very short time, a high-power vacuum cleaner can be used to suck out the water vapor. However, if a large area of ​​water is required to pick up the wooden floor, dry it according to the second scheme. At the same time, if the indoor moisture is large, if there is a condition that the dehumidifier can be installed indoors, the indoor moisture can be drained in a short time, but this operation scheme needs to have the wooden floor dry recognition technology.
